Its not recruiting that is causing NIU's downfall, it is the coaching that is tearing the program apart. Outside of Lynch/Harnish/Wolfe/Turner, I'd be willing to bet that the collection of players NIU has currently is some of the best in program history. If you watch the games though, it is quite obvious they are not playing to their full potential. I am hoping this is just a one year fall but who knows. It will all depend on what happens this offseason and hopefully Carey will get the boot.
