RE: SEC Week Two
I have no issue with playing in state FCS schools. We get a win and a tune up (most of the time lol) and they get almost their entire yearly athletic spending taken care of. It's a win/win. I am against playing out of state FCS programs though. It's one game a year.

I do wish as a whole the P5 had to schedule like this.

4 OOC Games:
1. In state FCS opponent.
2. G-5 Program (Doesn't matter who)
3. P-5
4. P-5

3 OOC Games:

1. In State FCS
2. G-5
3. P-5

That way everyone is playing the same amount of P5 opponents. The same amount of G-5 opponents and the same about of FCS opponents. I know it could be argued that some conferences won't have schedule that say the SEC or B1G have in that situation.

I don't care how anyone tries to spin it. Playing an SEC conference schedule if a lot harder than playing an ACC or PAC12 conference schedule. We don't need to make it any easier on them either.

FSU and Clemson are 2 national title contenders and the ACC's best programs. They got to play Auburn (Predicted 4 or 5 in the WEST) and Ole Miss in Florida (Predicted 3rd in the West). LSU the predicted #2 team in the West had to play Wisconsin in Wisconsin lol. Anyone judging the SEC on this 1st week in ridiculous.

Now on to the polls/rankings situation:

Louisville moves up 6 spots by beating the hell out of Charlotte who lost by almost the exact same score to MTSU last season. Wisconsin moves up to #10 from UR by beating LSU, but LSU drops to #21 from #5 by losing by 2 points to Wisconsin in Wisconsin?

Texas wins an overtime game against Notre Dame in Texas and goes from UR to #11.

TCU who struggled with an FCS team for most of their game only drops 2 spots but Tennessee who struggled with a G5 team that was 11-2 last season and predicted to win their conference drops 8 spots?

Here's what I am thinking.

The networks are battling right now.

The writers are all submitting their votes and they are pumping up the teams that are part of their network. Once again, like anything else this is all about money. Fox Sports wants more ranked teams for their games, ESPN wants ranked teams and so on. It is what it is.

Houston looked very dominant against Oklahoma. They moved up to #6. They are the darling of college football right now and G5 fans everywhere will unite to support them. They want to see that (Possible) Undefeated G5 conference champ get into the playoff.

These networks will spin drama like no other to get ratings.

As far as the SEC goes. We need to take care of business this weekend. Everyone knows what they have to do. We get disrespected for playing the hardest opening weekend schedule and they give credit to other conferences when they played a very weak schedule overall.

This will all work itself out. We just need to take care of business from our end.
