Many say "FIRE RAY WATTS" but the only ones who can do that are the ones who hired him -- and would name his replacement.
Many want Mark Ingram gone, but his replacement will be hired by the UAB President and for the foreseeable future, that is RAY WATTS.
As the state's legislature reminded all Alabama cities and counties last spring, there is no such thing in our state's system as "HOME RULE" --and that applies to UAB too.
