he sat behind chad kelly last year who is viewed as arguably one of the best qbs in the nation last year for ole miss, and beat out jonh franklin who is easily winning the auburn competition this year despite just getting there...

From what I saw of Franklin, he better improve a lot or it will be a long season for Auburn if he's their starter. The one game the Auburn asst saw him was as others said against one of the worst JuCo teams in the state last year....hence the first half score compared to some of the other games.

As far as the starter I feel like he wanted a P5 or nothing at all. I also "feel like but could be wrong" he probably didn't want to trash schools as much as some of his teammates did in the event one of them was his backup plan.
