RE: Big XII Network of the Willing?
OU and KU are gone... hello B1G. They need to beef that west division in both sports. Delaney will make them a Godfather type offer.

UT is going to end up with ND in the ACC to guarantee the ACC a playoff bid every year. Swofford will hit the lottery, much to my chagrin.

The Big 12 remainders poach the AAC. You'd have seven Big 12 schools left over, then add 5. UConn, UC, USF, UCF, and Memphis/Temple. ECU and Memphis/Temple for 14 total. Rest of the AAC is out of luck. Back to CUSA for you folks. However, the SEC is in play to poach Okie St, and KSU. Possibly TCU to get into Fort Worth. The Pac 12 would be in play for Houston and KSU, as well as TTech. Baylor or ISU to round it out to 16.

At the end of the day, you will have a P4, and what will be a new subdivision essentially. The only time P4 schools will be left out of the playoff is if the champ is a 3 or 4 loss squad, paving the way for the Cinderella in the dance.

Frankly, I'm hoping to preserve the current format and hope the Big 12 can strengthen its position in the future to consolidate and retain whatever tradition is left. If Memphis ever becomes a powerhouse and wins a few BCS bowls, they will be added in with UC.
