Senior Appreciation Night
Next Tuesday is Senior Night for men's hoops.

Brandon and Jordan (Martin) are our two seniors, eligibility wise.

Jordan is the good teammate. Guy you love to have on a team.

Brandon has a different role. He needed to step up and have a big season and he has. I believe that his father has a serious illness (I met his father up at PSU, but didn't know).

JT4 is the team's MVP. Brandon is the team's Most Inspirational or whatever term one wants to use.

We play intercollegiate sports to give players like Brandon their opportunity to shine and show others how to play the thing, not a game, but the thing we call life... 04-bow

As folks here know, Brandon went JUCO to try and become a D-I basketball player. He did. And this year, he became a VERY good D-I basketball player playing a vital role on his team. This team would be lost without him.

Decades from now, EMU fans will probably remember JT4 and have forgotten Brandon. That is too bad. Behind every player is a story. Brandon's story is a good one!! When he plays his last EMU game and gets his degree, he'll already be a big success in my book even though he is still a very young man.
