I don't even see how it is debatable. Saban has won five championships in 9 years. Bryant won 6 in 25 years. Alabama before Saban came was NOT the Alabama we have now. Saban built them into the powerhouse that they are now. He can go anywhere and get any kid that he wants. It is absolutely ridiculous that he has that kind of pull in this day and age. Over half of his seasons at Alabama have been Championship seasons!

Look, I know I talk my fair share of trash but it's not even comparable. Saban is the best college coach ever in regards to results on the field. There may be other manners of comparison that University folks might bring up but purely in terms of coaching football and getting results. Saban is the best.
