What you lose, what you have back
End of season, looking ahead stuff. All of this is based on NCAA official participation stats, so if you disagree with the numbers take it up with them. This is a simple look at how many seniors each team had, how many starts are lost to graduation (i.e. If your starting LT graduated and started all 13 games, that's 13 starts lost), and how many players you have returning that started at least 5 games, regardless of class. The list goes from the most starts lost to the least.

Team - seniors-starts lost-returners with 5+starts
La Tech - 24-166-10
WKU - 23-143-12
USM - 20-134-13
Marshall - 17-130-13
Middle - 27-121-13
UTSA - 22-113-15
UTEP - 22-103-16
FIU - 18-91-16
UNT - 17-85-17
FAU - 12-83-18
Rice - 14-75-17
ODU - 14-69-18
Charlotte - 11-50-19

The two things that really jump out to me based off just this data is that Skip is going to have to do a great job with La Tech next year and ODU could be poised to make a significant jump next year. Also, Charlotte should be better, but they will still be young, I think 2017 is when they start showing real improvement. Rice should have an opportunity to move up a few spots in the standings also.
