Illinois is a mess because their football coach/team is a mess and there is no AD right now. There's not a huge scandal at Illinois, just a lot of turnover. Even so, Illinois is a P5 school and it is a very good job, even amongst P5 schools. I would probably put the Illinois AD job as a slightly-lower-than the median job in the P5, which puts it above every G5 AD job out there.
