All they have to do is beat their SEC rival, knock off a couple of decent teams, and avoid WTF losses. However, with better in-conference competition, it will be much harder to run the tables. Even if Clemson and FSU are favored in every game, it will be much easier to have an off day and drop a game here and there. Sure their SOS' should improve, but I honestly think that, within reason, W/L > SOS.

One thing it does is give the champ some breathing room, a loss wouldn't hurt as bad or knock them out.
