Losing Lynch hurts, but Brady Davis was a highly rated recruit. Can we keep the Keon Howard commitment? The next coach needs to have confidence in his recruiting ability. I think one of the factors pushing Fuente towards the door is he doesn't think he can sustain high level recruiting at Memphis.

Agreed. Which probably means that Fuente knows the Big XII invite isn't coming in a time frame that works for his career (if ever).

Not really. Even in the P5 we today we would not be considered a decent P5... Miami, VT, etc. are simply better jobs regardless of conference affiliation. Most people are simply not like Patterson at TCU...
