We couldn't beat anyone, period, prior to Fuente getting here and look what he was able to do. He took one of, if not the, worst football programs in the country and rebuilt it. If he can do that here, he should be able to have success at VT. Being in the Coastal division of the ACC, he should have a good shot at getting to the CCG most years.

Fred Pancoast...
Sometimes it is lightning in a bottle. People in Memphis REALLY wanted to believe in their team, and Fuente got them to buy in and believe...and the team flourished. Will Fuente get the same level of support at Virginia Tech if he goes there?

I kind of agree with SOME of the things people have said about Tech.
At the end of the day...Blacksburg is a town of 40,000 with not much to do after certain times of the day...as opposed to say Memphis. I could always find something to do in Memphis at say 3:00am if I wanted to.

Yeah, but Fuente is married with kids - aint lookin for nothing happening at 3am.

my reply had more to do with recruiting for Virginia Tech...getting young men to think about that as a destination.
Right now in their 2016 recruiting class...only 5 kids from the state of Virginia are considering them.

Roger, that! 04-cheers
