He had foul issues. JP made the right move sitting him.

The 4th foul was a joke of a call. Lawson made no contact with anyone. Amazing what these refs call sometimes. Strange I didn't see those types of calls in the KY/Duke or KU/MSU. But I did see a lot of Duke players with 2 hands on KY players which is supposed to be an instant foul. No call. I also saw Duke and MSU with a lot of pushing in the back of post players . Supposed to be an instant foul. No call. No surprise. They play with different rules.

He picked up his 2nd foul. Last year, JP would have left him in to pick up a 3rd, which would have been a debacle.

Maybe JP has learned something.

Until he left him in after he picked up #3 very early in the 2nd half.

He had to leave him in. KJ was to jittery to come in and play under control and Marshall is raw right now so can't play him a ton.

Letting him play was a gamble but one he had to make

Maybe it is just me, but Marshall does not seem like he is athletic or coordinated, just big.

To me Marshalls skill set seems to be like many of the Tall African Kids who come over late to try basketball.
