That was basically our schedule last year. Just don't do what we did and lose about 4 players to injury in those games. Turned losses that would have been okay in the grand scheme of things into painful losses.

The difference is that once conference play started you have seen how it prepared your guys. It's almost like playing on all-madden difficulty level and then playing someone on the regular setting for fun. It gets much easier and things are a bit slower. Win or loss, it sets you up well for conference play. It's sad at this point that the G5 only has one lottery ticket to win, and the rest are concessions that no one cares for.

We've seen that this year. Even the difference between Toledo and the Bottom 8 Sun Belt Teams is quite significant. It's really felt like we are taking a step down in competition most weeks. Kind of frustrating honestly.

Hell, Toledo is a step up from all the Sun Belt this year. How they lost a MAC game is beyond me.
