If you watched the video you'd know he did that because previous whistleblowers who used the proper internal channels were all subsequently arrested and their info swept under the rug as much as possible. Credit Snowden for being smart enough to not become just another anonymous guy in jail and moral enough to not just keep doing a job that asks you to spy on millions of innocent Americans.

all that says is he's a dipshite for playing by their rules for some time, then changing his mind.....
