Yet your response talks about 'wasting his time', which is not the same thing as 'being a team player'.

I personally think he might want to develop in a different, more front court heavy system and I think he'll fit in marvelously at UVA. I wish he was still here b/c he is a tremendous player, but I'll be ok.

3. On the wasting your time thing, lots of players transfer and use that year to lift, get stronger, and get a different coaching perspective, most recently Kyle Wiltjer, who has some career similarities to AN.

Again, if you know for a fact that AN is not a team player, then I'll defer, but it seems like you are simply stating an opinion, which you are certainly entitled to of course...

The only similarities between Kyle Wiltjer and Austin is there skin color and lack of athleticism. Two totally different players. Kyle has guard skills with the ball and has a much more complete game, he had that when he got to UK.

Point granted, but AN might think a year sitting would help him with training and his body.

Certainly not comparing their games in the least (low post player vs. a stretch type). Probably wasn't clear.

I think Austin is going to be a better player at UVA then he could have been at Memphis. His improvement at Memphis would have been because of him, I think the UVA staff will help him improve.
