This is how OOC scheduling is done these days:

1). Try to schedule an exempt tourney at your place. That gets usually 3 home games.

2). Pay for it by going on the road for a money game.

I don't know where I get the 'number' 75K but I think that is what it cost the home team to pay visiting team guarantees (25K x 3) for these mini-tourneys.

"Miami is hosting a mini-tournament from 11/20 through 11/22, featuring us, Northeastern, Lipscomb, and Florida Atlantic. We're paying for it with a buy game at Xavier. "

EDIT: Here is a website which tracks those exempt tourneys (we've hosted a few like the "Iceman Classic" and last year's 'tourney'.)
