Patriots still insists that Aaron Hernandez is innocent, and wants him back on their team. Face it, there are more reasons to hate the Patriots more than cheaters, but the Patriots defends thugs and murderers to boot just som that they can win more games.

I guess that's why they cut him immeadiately and went after his bonus money, because they the Patriots are insisting he's innocent and want him back. Even if he actually didn't commit the murders he's still looking at 10+ years for the illegal guns he had in his Franklin apartment.

Why did Kraft and Belicek testified in defense of Aaron? They still believed he did no wrongs.

Kraft was REQUIRED to testify as a witness for the PROSECUTION and his testimony, according to the reporting, helped "seal the fate" of Hernandez. Not sure BB was ever required to testify.
