Echoing everyone's sentiments, this is fantastic for our program and Haase is deserving. But don't take the bait and turn this into a football vs basketball debate. This is a deliberate move to take news off Monday's revelation.

I hope we have another bomb set to deploy. And yes, Coach looks like an ISIS captive in that video. I'm pretty sure his captors made him read that statement.

Finally, a contract extension is worthless if conference affiliation in basketball is reduced. It is a misdirection move--leading us to believe we are all-in on basketball, but if we downgrade our league affiliation, Haase will leave after a tournament run and we will replace with an ersatz coach in an ersatz league.

Do not relent. FIRERAYWATTS.
