I took anthropology as an elective during my second semester at southern (those damn electives...I actually enjoyed 'em) ....the premise dealt with the history of mankind and the relationship regarding evolution and sport.....I think I got an 'A' simply b/c it blew his mind that I came up with the subject matter (one req't was the student had to select a compare/contrast theme.....hanging out and drinking a few with him may have helped too ).....small town college life back in the day.....it was so much fun....I'm still happy I chose that class.....it's fun inserting a different train of thought into those that are unaware of what exists....that's the challenge of both sport and mankind.....that is why it's still fun and why I sometimes get angry when the 'monies' try to take that away from me......it's my ball dammit and I'm not dead yet.....I'm ramblin' now.....
