Everyone,

I apologize for the duplicate thread, but with the articles published today, I did not want this information getting lost inside a thread.

I spoke with Chuck Tuggle several minutes ago in regards to my email of concerns and issues to the NAS yesterday. As I stated earlier today, Ms. Watson was very nice and responded back to me multiple times, but she referred me to Chuck on questions about the meeting since he has set the itinerary items for the meeting and according to NAS by-laws, that will be the discussion for the meeting.

I asked him about remote access and he said that he needs to hear a lot of furor over the issues from out-of-state NAS members that cannot attend the meeting in order to make the efforts to stream it for us. This would give the meeting a "national" audience, showing it's not just an issue in Birmingham. In addition, the meeting is to work to have the NAS, including the leadership fight for the alumni's interest, not rubber stamping the administration.

He also gave me liberty to share his email for those who wish to contact him: chucktuggle@bellsouth.net

In addition, he asked to have us join the Facebook groups "Save UAB Alumni" and "Save UAB Football."

Nice guy that is trying to work within our NAS to help make the alumni's voices heard. Please reach out to him.
