Formation of football
From those of you who remember the beginnings of UAB football, how did things play out?
While I hope we continue to fight for football and ultimately win, I was wondering if folks would support or will try to organically re-start football (ie, starting with club level playing at the soccer field or new soccer stadium if that is still being planned). I suspect that whenever we would re-start football, we need to have something ongoing and working on building things from the ground up.
I just began to think about that since I noticed some folks planning a football scrimmage on the Green later this week in support of UAB. I know that many don't even want to think about starting over, but it might be a good way to continue to support football at UAB even if not supported from an administrative level.
