I agree that you have been more objective that most lefties on here, about this and many other issues. But you've ventured pretty far into the water-carrying here lately.

Let's just take your comments at face value. I'll accept for the sake of argument your statement that you called this a terrorist attack on September 12th. But you have subsequently claimed that later attempts to characterize it as something else were not a cover up. So are you saying that the administration's attempt to peddle a story that you had concluded was wrong did not constitute a cover up? Please navigate me through that minefield.

I want the truth to come out, period. Obviously there was a major screwup somewhere. You don't get this kind of result without one. We've had now seven reports that have failed to identify where. So where?

Owl, it's right there in the fricking report, the one signed off by Republicans! There was intel that the movie was a factor when Rice was given her talking points. And I've cited the NY Times piece several times, the one posted the day after the attack, that sources on the ground said that participants in the attack said they were motivated by the video. While yes, we soon learned that this was not the reason for the attach and that there wasn't any protest going on, but it doesn't change the FACT that this Republican led investigation found no fault in the administration or Rice for this.

And if you think that I'm carrying water for the administration here, it's only because that's where the water, all of it, has fell. We're over two years into this and still nothing has been found that points to any sort of WH cover-up, or a "scandal". It's time to stop wasting our time and money on this!

And was there really a screw-up? C'mon man, we have guys in the field all over the world. Sometimes, the bad guys are going to be better at some point and be able to kill some of them. As I've said ad nauseum...either open up the vaults and poor cash in or bring everyone home. That's the only viable solutions to preventing these things, and not even that is full proof.
