Yes, in Tennessee, Memphis is the top basketball school.
In MS a few years ago you could argue Southern was the strongest...but more so just in some years.
AL...UAB arguably the top basketball school.
GA, FL, SC, NC, VA, KY, LA likely P5 school in both sports.
UT...BYU arguably the top basketball and football.
OH...Cincy was ahead of osu in basketball but in the last decade osu seems to have moved back in front.
PA...Villanova the top basketball school...although Pitt has closed the gap.

Only Memphis, Southern, UAB and Cincy public?
