Musburger/Palmer lead SEC Network
Looks like the speculation was true... Brent Musburger and Jesse Palmer are the lead football announcers for the SEC Network

http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releas...unce-team/

For an upstart network, I think this is a pretty good lineup. Sure, Musburger is not on his game as much as a decade ago, but neither is Verne. SEC fans don't need someone to be on top of things, though, since most viewers could watch a game in silence and still keep up with what is happening just fine. We need an SEC homer who stays out of the way and tells a good story or two. I am glad to see Jesse Palmer over David Pollack for this assignment. I think he is stronger in the booth. It appears they are keeping Pollack as the heir apparent to Herbstreit if he ever changes roles on GameDay.
