Is any of this wrong? If not, the public anger needs to dial down a bit.

That's how I see it as well. 2 people made a mistake in a tense situation and apologized and owned it. Both have been disciplined and accepted it. Seems to me the situation was handled just fine.

People riding TTech fans a whole over this should consider how this thing could have escalated. I'll be honest, if some opponent comes into our crowd and shoves somebody, the chances it ends there seem pretty low. I am not a TTech fan, but I don't see giving them a bad rap for this.
