1. It's St. John's not Saint John's. We shared a league for almost a decade, you should know better.
2. Where was this "TV interest" when all the ACC posters were talking about how they could take the Garden if they wanted it. Looks like they wanted it but couldn't get it. Not sayin', just sayin'.
You keep harping on this one point trying to stir things up. But I recall most ACC fans saying that if the Acc were willing to go into MSG full time, they could eventually get MSG. You now full well that the ACC is not willing to go anywhere full time except Greensboro, and even that's not written in stone anymore. But if the Acc were willing to commit to a good number of years, then MSG would have a choice of UNC, Duke, Louisville, Syracuse, ND and Pitt as opposed to Nova, St Johns, Marquette, Providence, Butler and Seton Hall. Its a no brainer, and the BE is very fortunate, that the ACC wont commit to such a deal.
Okay, then explain how they get out of their contract with the Big East that runs until 2026? Is it worth it to get your balls sued off to sell the same amount of tickets?
The Dolans are idiots but their lawyers might not be...I assume there are clauses to void it.
Yes, if this current Big East loses key membership. Which isn't happening anytime soon.
