That really isn't a bad idea. I'm not sure the ACC would go for it though. UConn doesn't travel well to bowls so I'm not seeing how they are an asset like Notre Dame was.

UConn could try to alternatively join the BE in basketball and go independent in football. They could schedule Army, Navy, BC, Temple, Syracuse and throw in 1 for 1's with a few MAC schools like Buffalo and Akron. This way they avoid having to take their football program all over the country as they would in the AAC.

Syracuse and BC would never schedule Uconn.

True. UConn is just a giant pain in the ass to Syracuse & BC. They want UConn to just fade away (BB & FB).
