I still think the Pac-12's home sites model is the way for the ACC to go but as long as we're employing this model, Charlotte is the choice.

I think the way to do it is the ACC's model in Charlotte. It allows the conference to build up corporate relationships, etc, with the Charlotte community. Sort of like a bowl game. It is mostly about generating revenue, after all, isn't it? Is Boston College's appearance creating 10K empty seats in Charlotte one year more important than the $ Bank of America or Lowes is going annually shell out for a giant block of corporate sweets?

Remember the way things are moving too....like the ACC-branded restaurant opening up at RDU. Push that type of SEC-like branding across NC. And really, NC is the only place you can really get that to take off.

I think, combining both financial considerations and attendance, Charlotte is the most prudent move.

To be fair to the Eagles, they played in Florida, not N Carolina... BC might bring more fans to Charlotte, I suspect (just based on the number of Bostonians living in the area).

Just imagine a game between FSU and Miami in Charlotte or Clemson and Miami (or VT, but hey I think the 'Canes win division 03-razz).

We shall see my Hurricane opponent... we shall see... 05-mafia

I hope the Hokie FB team is looking ahead this Saturday. I'll be there personally to find out. 05-stirthepot
