I agree. The top of the page is cluttered with stuff that no one ever reads. How else can you explain the lack of interest in the thread about the Atlanta Braves? America's Team!

Just put everything here and if it seems off-topic, then use "OT" so that anyone offended by a less than pristine sports message board can avert his gaze.
