Marketing UAB FOOTBALL AT LEGION FIELD is a COMPLETE FAILURE, regardless of how many wins or how many faithful fans show up for every so called home game. You faithful fans who think that "winning games is the best marketing strategy" for substantially increasing attendance figures are wishful thinkers.
Troy is ALLOWED to construct and/or expand, without the approval of a governing board of Alabama alumni.
The ONLY effective marketing strategy for UAB to become permanently successful at substantially increasing attendance figures, is IF the Board of Trustees ALLOWS UAB to build a NEW ON CAMPUS STADIUM. A new on campus stadium will DEFINATELY attract more current fans, and a plethora of new fans, as well.
Stop beating around the bush.
What a great idea!
I wonder why nobody's thought of it.
I will only accept that winning will not work as a successful marketing strategy for getting more fans to come to Legion Field when it is done and it fails. Until UAB gets a "green light" on its OCS, we have Legion Field as our "home field", like it or not. The city's MPF may happen before that "green light" appears from the west.
