RE: Interim tag has been removed from Sander
You have to post any job that comes available to give people the opportunity to apply for it so you don't discriminate on the basis of race, religion, sex, sexual preference, age, etc... It's a little shady to just remove the interim tag without posting the job and giving folks who may want the job and BE MORE QUALIFIED to apply for it.
How would you feel if ETSU had just appointed Wilsie Bishop or David Collins interim president then just magically removed the tag when Stanton retired?
Same goes with women's basketball. If it hasn't been posted, how can someone apply for it and help the university remain compliant?
And perhaps one of the many ETSU employees on here can post what's in the handbook about posting new jobs as they become available and the minimum time it has to be posted?
