It's really been the last 5 years. You only have to see that NIU has 5 wins in the last 16 meetings with UT. 4 of those are in the past 5 seasons. 2 MACC, 3 MACC appearances, and the Orange Bowl during that period - absolutely great. CMU's 5 year stretch('05-'09) with 3 MACC in 3 appearances was very similar to NIU last 5 seasons.

Well, NIU does have the best record in the MAC I believe, over the past 11 years. The one win against Toledo that wasn't in the last 5 years, was 7 years ago.
