RE: Two Your Should Not Have Let Get Away
slow-runner
We're hoping so! As you might guess from my screen name, I am from Texas, and there is no way I will disagree with you on the quality of Texas high school football - - simply put, the best in the Country. We got four (I believe it is four) other Texans through JuCo transfers in this year's recruiting class. I am sure all will quickly contribute.
Good luck to you guys in C-USA, and see you in 2014.
Edit: P. S. I don't know if you looked at the two videos are not, but they are both excellent recruits. The hardest part to understand is how UH let McCarley out of Houston. The QB we have now (Taylor Heinicke) was the Georgia player of the year his senior year in Atlanta, but did not get recruited by the SEC because he was "only" 6' 1". Last year he threw for 730 yards in one game (a Division 1 record) and broke Steve McNair's FCS season yardage record, throwing for over 5,000 yards. The good news for ODU is that, at also 6' 1" on video McCarley looks like a Heinicke clone.
Hey, sorry for rambling on. Again, good luck to the Road Runners.
