Without Memphis, I'm starting to think that UAB would enjoy the CAA or A-10 more in basketball and the other Olympic Sports. Football is only a matter of time before we do enough political arm-wrestling to get it righted. The CAA and A-10 has several old UAB rivals and a better basketball reputation.

But that said, it is a money game, and if the money says "Alliance", then ECU, Marshall, and USM will stay put.
