Something is definitely missing.
It's an intangible. It isn't normal for a team to build leads every game, and then lose the game every time. We don't have a killer instinct on this team. When you get a team down, you continue to put pressure on them. As some say, you put your foot on their throat and don't let them up. You bury them. Maybe our kids are too nice. I don't know. But we sure don't have the ability to put teams down.
Is it a lack of talent? I don't know. But when a kid from Arkansas that you had a committment from, according to Ray Tucker, who changes his mind and goes to La Tech, averages six points a game, and then hits you for 26, that's got to stick in your craw.
