Everyone has these type of fans. I personally hope Southern Miss does well. You have a similar problem what ECU has, in that ole miss, and miss state have no intention of allowing Southern Miss to reach its potential both on the field, or in academic programs and reach. Same with ECU vs unc and ncsu. If they had their way, ECU would still be ECTC, a female teachers college, with an enrollment of 1000-2000, instead of the 2nd largest, and fastest growing university in the state of NC.

Both have had to fight this battle and both have had success. Here is hoping for continued success.
