If there will ever be a new stadium built, the VAC won't be attached to it and will no doubt be nice walk. Locker rooms, at a minimum, have to be attached, which would imply a duplication (cost, etc) when and if any new stadium is built.

The best thing would have been a standalone VAC out in a field somewhere, where the new stadium will be built. That would work as both motiviation in vandal land to raise money, and it would tell the WAC that you're serious and not putting a dress and lipstick on a pig.
Having the VAC incorporated with the Kibbie Dome and the other Athletic Offices makes sense. Why would we build the VAC in an open field when athletes - football, hoops, VB, track, etc. - need to train there right now? Having the VAC attached to the current offices makes sense in many ways. When we build a new outdoor stadium making additional space for suiting up, if needed at all, will be a nominal cost. Countless numbers of teams warm- and tape-up at one designated spot, then travel to play at the stadium.

Where???

I do not think there are very many D1A Stadiums that have locker rooms in another location.

Maybe there are a lot of Division III or Division II teams that have offsite locker rooms.
WSU & UCLA first come to mind, plus every team that plays off campus. Do you think a school would build their primary training facility off site, then ship the hoop, VB, track teams, et. al, to the statium to work out? When the new stadium is built, the athletic department isn't going to move anywhere. The dome won't be the place we play on Saturday's forever, but it's certainly there to stay.
So, when will Idaho build this often talked about stadium. What is the plan?
I seldom get a chance to converse with Idaho fans.
Why do they play in a dome?
Green Bay does not play in a dome. Is it really that cold in Idaho?
Good question. We won't build a stadium soon enough, far as I'm concerned. The dome was created as a multi-pupose facility, not as a break from the cold Saturday's. The Kibbie Dome also houses indoor track meets, hoops, performing arts, etc.
