Griffey drills a shot off the wall and got a single out of it. Why? Because he stopped to admire his work before he came out of the box and only took off after he saw he didn't get it all. Marty made a comment or two about it but Brantley was livid. 4 innings later he is still pissed about Jr and was blasting him every chance he got. He said he didn't care who it was, it was inexcusable and he should be ashamed of it.

I can't stand to listen to Brantley for very long because of his annoying monotone voice...but he was right on the money that night. If it was Encarnacion or someone else, hell would have to be paid. I know they are looking for ways to get Hamilton in the lineup and rightly so, but Encarnacion (IMO) is a star waiting to happen. He'll have some bumps in the road along the way but they need to give that kid a shot.
