Gardner-Webb does the unthinkable vs. Lipscomb
In what can only be described as the biggest upset of Atlantic Sun basketball so far this season, Gardner-Webb triumphed at home last night against the heavilly-favored Lipscomb Bisons, 61-55.

Chris Gash scored 16 points, including a 3-3 effort from beyond the arc to lead all scorers. Thomas Sanders also chipped in 14 points to go along with tremendous effort on the boards, grabbing 12.

The great Eddie Ard was held to 2-13 shooting for a total of 9 points. (5 of which came at the FT line.)

The Gardner-Webb defensive effort held Lipscomb to an incredible 1-22 from beyond the arc.

We shall see what this team is really made of on Saturday, as the other half of the dynamic Nashville duo rolls into Boiling Springs for a 7:00 tip.
