The is really only a few jobs out there that would be a good fit for both Frank and the university in question.
A top tier BCS school is going to want nothing to do with Frank. He's not an A list head coach......was a career assistant type of a guy that finally got a shot at Nebraska to HC. Frank is known more for running a fundamentally sound program than being a power recruiter.
Frank would be a good fit at a second-tier midwestern BCS school that wants to build a program on fundamentals. Iowa State and Minnesota sound like natural fits. Those schools need strong walk on programs to succeed and Frank does that well.
Frank is not going to leave for the MWC or CUSA.......he already is at the top program in the MAC East. OU has potential to be a serious mid major football school.......they've beaten a BCS school 3 years in a row. TCU is the only other non BCS school that has accomplished that.
Coaching in the Big Ten would have to appeal to Frank.......he's the kind of guy who likes to compete at the highest level he can. That would be the main motivator, not the money. The question is can Frank get an offer from a Big Ten school....he struggled to find a job after Nebraska let him go.
