MAC leads the nation for number of schools graduating 70% or more of its freshman class.

The article is from the HD - so the article understandably and justifiably possesses a Marshall slant, but all MAC schools received mention. http://www.herald-dispatch.com/2004/June/13/MUtop1.htm

"Two schools, Boston College and Northwestern, achieved a 100% graduation rate. Other schools joining Marshall on the honorable mention include Ball State, Bowling Green, Duke, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Maryland, Memphis, Miami-Florida, Miami-Ohio, Nebraska, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma State, Rice, Southern Mississippi, Syracuse, Texas Tech, Toledo, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, West Virginia, and Western Michigan"

Out of 31 schools given the honor, the MAC had 7 schools on the list - 23% of the total - more than any other conference.

Here's how it breaks down:

MAC - 7
Big East - 5
Big 8 - 5
Big 10 - 4
ACC 4
CUSA 3
SEC 1
WAC 1
ND 1

Where's the PAC 10?
