I don't know about everyone else but I'm pretty comfortable w/Carter at QB. He's started & played in some games last year. He's involved in the offense (at WR) this season so he's got a good grasp of the offense. Now if Carter goes down....then I start to worry. Jeremy Young(?) is suppose to be good, but has yet to play.

I think Carter, overall, will be fine. He might get off to a shaky start, which wouldn't surprise me, but I think he'll do a great job before the game is over. And this year he doesn't have to look over his shoulder wondering when Almond is coming in; he can just focus on the game.

Didn't he start in the Bama game last season??? I think I remember that, but then again my mind isn't what it use to be. I look for a good game that both defense's control. I know USM usually has a good defense, and ours is coming along pretty well, so I look for it to be a struggle for the O's. Especially since both teams are without their starting qb's; we lost Ray Hudson last week as well, so that eliminates our biggest threat at running back. USM seems to always get up for the Bama game and I'm sure this year will be no different. Hope both teams stay healthy through this one.

Yes, Carter did start the Bama game last year, but got pulled after just two series. Didn't have a chance to really get in a groove.

I agree though; let's both make it out of this game w/o any injuries!

Well guess I was wrong. Carter never seemed to get it going. Looked bad all day. DOn;t know why we didn;t roll him out & let him take off running to make some plays.

Only 1 game left vs Bama & then we are done.
