RE: 2018 words of the year....why not start it early
Machapocalypse

Noun. 1. The complete and utter prediction of doom when public US figures do not espouse positions consistent with the NEA party line. 2. The result of supposed tax cuts in Ohio that weaken the continued public funding of educator retirements on the back of taxpayers. Note, the opposite effect of private-sector employees losing 401k matching percentages DO NOT result in a "counter-machapocalypse", rather appear to be deemed insignificant in comparison.

Use in sentences. 1. "Upon hearing that Governor Kasich extended the years of service to reach retirement for educators in Ohio, a Spin Room poster had a Machapocalypse and required Xanax to regain his emotional balance." 2. "When Betsey Devos articulated her position against Common Core, many teachers that were unfamiliar with teaching beyond SOL compliance had a total Machapocalypse."

Agree with Stinky and trust Mach took this in the spirit in which it was intended.
