We all know they are just taking up space & being used to get daddy's donations, but nonetheless that is the deal.
You see players from Mountain Brook, Vestavia, etc. on the team.

What? You see people from those same places play at UAB

Do you guys expect that this weather shift will diminish the crowd tomorrow? I think it makes it practically neutral court as I doubt people go through the hassle of driving in icy weather. I have been wrong before of course.

I hope not. UAB is 0-3 on neutral courts and 1-0 on opponent courts

Wish I could make the drive down but the road conditions are too testy for us this time. What time does the game start?

No problem. Game will be televised on SEC Network for those that can't make it.

RE: UAB vs auburn
The last UAB vs. Auburn game I attended in Auburn was on December 16th, 1993. UAB won, 69-65. George Wilkerson was sick as a dog the day before the game, barfing with a fever and the flue. I know. I gave him a ride home from practice that evening. He actually opened the passenger door to my car and barfed half way back to his dorm. The next day, George guarded Wesley Person for 40 minutes. Wesley still managed to score 20 some odd points. I remember at halftime I picked up a half time statistic when UAB was in the locker room at halftime. The first half of that game, UAB had ZERO turnovers for the entire half. After the end of the game, I showed it to Coach Bartow. We both agreed, that was an amazing statistic and one that helped UAB to win that game. No team, in a given year, has zero turnovers in 20 minutes. That is very, very rare. That same season, Coach Bartow's six Seniors....Wilkerson, Shannon, Long, Allen, Thrash, and Haywood, won 22 games and lost 8 games(by a total of 31 points). They lost to Temple by 3, Marquette by 2, again to Marquette by 4, to Memphis by 5, to Tulane by 6, to St. Louis by 1, again to Memphis by 5, and to George Washington by 5.

That was my favorite team of all time of Coach Bartow's. They sure knew HOW to play the game, each and every possession. Their statistics clearly show that. I wish we had teams who were as well DISCIPLINED as those guys were.

I would have thought George would be absolutely immune to nausea.

we are content to load up on cupcakes and win 20 something games and sit at home in the post season...

Anyway like a few people have said, this one will end up being vacated.

Posters on this board overwhelmingly wanted Eshan as head coach also

Anyone have an extra ticket that they aren't going to use, maybe because of the weather? We have an extra person who wants to go with us now, and would love to take an unused Blazer ticket instead of having to buy one from the Aubies tomorrow.
