RE: Slumping Buffalo Bills turn to Joe Webb for 'energy' on offense
Good for Joe, He's only a tried and true playoff winner, hope he pulls it off, Just one of the most talented, players in the League of the NFL. Not to many players can do what he does. Only thing he could do better is to through and catch to himself which, I don't see happening. Hope they have the offensive line to carry out his game.

On a side note, JJ Nelson seems to be defying the odds. His speed and hands and feet and talent are unmatched. I've seen one more talented player then him and that was Jerry Rice. At what he does. Not quite in the breadth of Jerry Rice as of yet.

The guy ahead of Joe on the depth chart is not that good. Mayne Joe can steal some more reps.

Joe is getting old (in NFL seasons) so the Bills team is probably his last chance. I will always believe that Joe Webb is one of the great talents wasted by NFL coaching. I hope he is able to get a good one at Buffalo.

He is the best pure athlete to ever play football at UAB. He did things that seemed physically impossible.

There are some fundamentally bad tendencies demonstrated here. I don't know if more playing time would have cured this stuff.

Fair or not, that was probably his big shot, but I hope he gets another.

He is one of the most athletically gifted quarterbacks in the NFL (maybe the most), but he is prone to bad decisions when pressured (in college as well, but he was so good it often did not matter).

His talent wasn’t wasted by NFL coaches. He had a long career as a backup qb/special teams player/wr. Joe is a tremendous athlete, but he was never going to be a tremendous nfl qb.

Well he has had a long career and that's were all greats go to finish their career, check, Flutie, think even Izell ended his career with them. Somebody has to pull it off. Don't feel to bad for him as long as he did not blow on a ontarougues, should have some checks and balances built up. If not. Would like to see him as a year or two as a Starter in the League.

If he walks out with that many years and comes out healthy and did not blow it, everything on his ontarouge. He has a great life ahead of him.

It took me a minute to figure out that an ontarouge is not Canadian lipstick... you mean "entourage".

Not as old as you'd think. He doesn't get hit that much. He could probably hold a clipboard and get paid until he's 40. Not that he will, but it's not like he's a starting running back getting killed every week in the trenches.

No they were always going to start Peterman. This "energy" was just supposed to be on some surprise wildcat plays.

Joe will start in two weeks after Peterman throws another 5 ints Sunday.

Joe at QB in OT put Bulls in position to win the game on 35 yard completion to Thompson

Bills win in some horrendous conditions. OT was the Webb - McCoy show.

I've always been bummed that Joe's athleticism wasn't better utilized. The Panthers did it best by having him on the special teams units.

But, at the very least he could have been used as a punt return/kick return guy.

Unlike other players, he still may be able to walk in 20 years & have his squash intact.

I feel like on balance he got a pretty sweet deal. One week of ridicule for that playoff game in exchange for millions of dollars, a Super Bowl appearance, and free access to nice gym equipment.
