That is normal for Walton. Tune in during the regular season and you'll hear him say just as many great things about Corvallis or Boulder or Tucson.

Bill Walton was a hanger on with the Weather Underground and even had ties (via friends)to the SLA. He has always been something of a pro-Communist sympathizer.

I am amazed the P12 hires him. His schtick was old comedy/parody of himself 20 years ago. Now it's positively ancient. I refuse to turn up the volume on any P12 Basketball game he calls. And addle brain.
