Where it has been headed towards if people would take of their rose colored glasses. Everyone is just waiting for the B12 GOR to get near expiration. 03-banghead

I admit I don't follow the MWC closely but that seems like a really down year for them. Am I wrong?

It certainly isn't their finest hour. They usually have a few more P5 notches in their belt by this time of year. Since the loss of the BYU/Utah/TCU triumvirate this league has lost a lot of its sparkle. Boise has taken a step back but at least Sam Diego St is still going strong. The Nevada twins both losing to FCS certainly doesn't help the league reputation either.

RE: Non-Conference Records
Records are a decent guide for a rough estimate, but it takes no consideration for the quality of opponent...

Outside of SFSDU, the entire MWC is hot garbage this season.

And four of the other 5 went down to OT or last drive. Hard to interpret nonconference records- doesn't take into account opponent strength and scores.

S & P+ rankings have the Big 12 as the toughest conference:

Sagarin also has the big 12 as #1 (lists divisions separately):

The Connelly tweet is interesting because of how close the leagues are this year.

It is a down year, except for SDSU. Nevada, SJSU, and UNLV really suck.
