RE: Adidas-FBI ???
On occasion I have wondered how anyone could be so close to the program and yet have no information about what was going on. As someone suggested earlier wait until the canaries start singing and it may get very interesting, no guilty party will likely escape this mess.

It's easy for NCAA to bully small schools like us and with the Louisville and Adidas connection along with the quick rise, it would be very easy to justify investigation. Even if nothing happened they could cloud the program with the under investigation tag
Under investigation for what? Money was exchanging hands so they could get their hooks in future NBA players. Sorry, but we don't rate that sort of attention.
If anyone has read the reports, the two schemes were out of our league. NC State is one I'm watching in the state of NC. Gottfried was desperate.

This is a similar concept to people discussing if the top soccer clubs in Europe will breakaway to only play each other and not the rest of the top 18 or 20 clubs in their country. By breaking away and facing harder competition, clubs will get worse records. Likewise, it will be harder for Duke to start a season 12-0 or 11-1 out of conference if they could only play opponents in the best conferences. The Men's Basketball Selection Committee already treats teams from the best conferences better than their RPI.

Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens went on trial and were found not guilty. Rich people can get fired and embarrassed, but you can't ever take for granted that a rich person will get convicted. That's how our criminal justice system is.

True. We don't really have a Criminal Justice system. We have a LEGAL system, and those who can afford the best lawyers have the best shot at winning battles in court.

His first part about how when he first began talking to NCAA coaches he told them he wasn't interested in compensation... that's telling. That means a large amount of schools/recruiters are out there offering compensation. If you have to tell them that upfront, that's quite indicative of a large-scale NCAA problem.

Nice little story but not buying it at all. Where was this guy at before and why does he need to protect his son? If you did nothing wrong and have a real story to tell, call the FBI and tell them not the NY Post or some other rag.
I do think plenty of this stuff has been going on for a long time but lets have some names and real info, not just some guy.
Gotta think Keatts has some knowledge of this and is stonewalling, as is the charming and HONEST Sean Miller-what a joke. These guys have zero integrity and are simply in it to win at all cost.

I don't but he also did not say he did anything other than talk to the NY Post with anonymity . Always have to question why someone needs or wants to be heard but will not stand behind it. Just do the right thing or shut up.
There is so much money involved in this stuff that baffles the mind.

RE: Adidas-FBI ???
It has been announced that two Louisville assistants have been put on paid leave. This along with the earlier news that Pitino was getting 98% of Adidas money going to the school. I am not saying Keatts was ever involved in any of that mess, but we may be fortunate he is no longer with us.
