I get it most of the old salty C-USA writers refuse to give new schools credit. They just want to gave there schools more reason to cry that they ''carry the conference.''

I would think it's more about the opponent that they faced.

I imagine a conference game featuring the preseason favorites in each division was given slightly more weight.
To your point about "old schools" you do realize Tech joined in 2013 and FAU joined in 2014, so we are both "new schools" to the conference.

That was Ito Smith's 1st ever CUSA Offensive player of the Week award, which is a bit surprising. But then again, there are a lot of players eligible to receive these awards every week.

Well, Ryan Bee had 10 tackles, 2 sacks, and a QB hurry from the DT position in a shutout win and Marshall is an "old school" in the conference.
